Daughter of the late Isaac Macharia Wambugu and the late Sarah Wanja Macharia of Wahundura, Kiria Village, Kamacharia Location, Mathioya in Murang’a County. Mother of Sarah Wamucii Mwangi of TSC, Nairobi. Sister of Lydia Makena (Nakuru), Jason Wambugu (Msa) Esther Kihara (Mirira, Loc 20), Wilson Maina (Kiru Sec), Duncan Kabochi (Ketraco), the late Gibson Muiga, Milka Mumbi (Mariira), James Wamita (UPM Msa), the late Jane Mukami and Lucy Gichuru (Stima Sacco).
Step-sister of late Geoffrey Mwangi (Sipili) and Beatrice Njoki Macharia (Kiria). Mother-in-law of Joseph Mwangi of Energy Advisory Ltd. Grandmother of Joan, Maureen, Sharon, Emily among others. Sister-in-law of Erastus Makena (Nakuru), Eunice Wambugu (Msa), Michael Kihara (Mirira), Agnes Kabochi (Visions Salon), John Wanyui (Mariira), Fraciah Wamita (Msa), Patrick Gichuru (Nrb) & dear aunt of many. Cousin of Jane Kihoro, Beatrice Gachunia, Lucy Wachaaga among others.

Relatives and friends are meeting From 6:30pm at All Saints Cathedral (on 9th & 10th Nov. 2015) and Starehe Estate at her house, Thika, for funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on 11/11/2015 at 8:00 am for burial at Kiria Village, Kamacharia Location, at 12:00 noon, Murang’a County.
