It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. George Muraguri Gikonyo (Center Manager, Wambugu Energy Center Nyeri), which occurred on 13/10/2015, after a tragic car jacking, along Nyeri Karatina road.
Son of Julius Gikonyo and Priscilla Njoki. Beloved and devoted husband of Faith Njoki. Father of Priscilla Wangari, Kevin Gikonyo and Samuel Mwangi. Son-in-law of Samuel Gakuru and the late
Beatrice Wairimu. Brother of Geoffrey Macharia, Jane Gikonyo, Beth Muthoni and Judy Wanjiru.
Brother-in-law of Albert Taiti, Miriam Muthoni, Lydiah Wambui, Margaret, James Hunja and David Macharia. Uncle of Beatrice, Boniface, Macharia, Milka, Stephen, Eric, Abigael, Antonia, Austin, Alvin among others.
Beatrice Wairimu. Brother of Geoffrey Macharia, Jane Gikonyo, Beth Muthoni and Judy Wanjiru.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at 6:00pm at Magomano Restaurant Nairobi, Unity Restaurant in Nyeri, George’s residence at Umoja II (Amani Court) and at his parents home in Siron - Marmanet, Laikipia County.
The cortege leaves Mathari Mission Hospital on Friday November 6, 2015 at 6:00am for funeral mass and burial at his parents home Siron.
